Overview

Over a million stray animals live in the streets of Nepal, starving, neglected, sick, and subjected to being victims of abuse that includes horrific cruelty and violence by the locality. Compared to the rest of the world, strays in Nepal are in a very pitiful condition where most of them do not die a natural death. Nepal is one of the few Asian countries without proper animal welfare legislation. Without government assistance and funding, the living situation of stray animals in Nepal is abusive and truly a horrifying sight to watch. It is normal to see injured and hopeless animals daily in every locality, including hit & run cases, severe wounds, illness, cruelty, and abandonment. It is not new for these innocent souls to be beaten, tortured, and killed in many parts of the country. 

Stray's Haven Foundation is a charity organization that aims to educate people worldwide and raise awareness about stray animals' conditions in Nepal. We have formed partnerships with various Animal Rescue/Welfare organizations in Nepal. We will channel funds raised through donations and sponsorships to these institutions to provide food, shelter, and medications to stray animals and eventually get them adopted into loving forever families.
